Lee Boss - Owner & Registered Physiotherapist
Lee is a graduate of the University of Toronto in 1981, Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She has extensive post-graduate education and work experience in manual therapy, myofascial techniques, exercise application and sports injuries. She was certified in Acupuncture and practices German Auricular acupuncture (Certified Level 2). Past work experience includes being a manager of the Outpatient Physiotherapy Services and Sports Injury Program at Rouge Valley Health System – Centenary location for 9 years and she was also a manager at the Canadian Back Institute. Her varied experience is coupled strong assessment skills, a strong desire to offer clients current and effective treatments and to eliminate the root of the problem.
Kathy Szabo - Registered Physiotherapist
Kathy is a Registered Physiotherapist originating from Hungary. She passed the Canadian National Physiotherapy examination process in 2010. In Hungary, she gained extensive clinical experience, treating all ages, including athletes, seniors with complex conditions and many orthopaedic conditions. Her post-graduate education includes manual therapy, soft tissue management, medical taping and acupuncture. On immigrating to the United States and then Canada, she worked in Physiotherapy Clinics, gaining experience with a variety of Orthopaedic conditions including sports and motor vehicle injuries. Complementary to her medical knowledge, she played a variety of sports at a competitive level and understands the Physiotherapy needs of athletes. Kathy’s goal is to guide her patients through their recovery process to reach their highest level of performance.
Melissa Nunes - Registered Massage Therapist, Cranio-Sacral Practitioner
Melissa has extensive knowledge and experience as a registered massage therapist, cranio-sacral practitioner, as well as kinesiology. She dedicates herself to improving the health and well-being of her clients and educating them about preventative, rehabilitative and maintenance strategies of therapeutic care.
Along with Swedish massage techniques, Melissa provides therapeutic treatments ranging from relaxation to deep tissue therapy utilizing techniques such as lymph drainage, joint mobilizations, active release techniques, myo-fascial and trigger point therapy. When combining the practice of human kinetics and cranio-sacral therapy into her treatments, she ensures she meets the specific and individual needs of her clients.
Melissa has worked in multidisciplinary and clinical environments and within an educational setting. She provides treatment for a variety of conditions involving the nervous system, circulation, postural and high stress conditions, specializing in TMJ dysfunction, rehabilitative, pregnancy, infant, geriatric and sport massage.
Elissa Cuu - Registered Massage Therapist
Elissa's career started with a passion to help others. Initially she worked in Medical Administration. After years of helping patients from behind the desk she decided she wanted to help people improve their overall health with a hands-on approach. She went on to graduate from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Trillium College.
Elissa provides treatments using Swedish techniques, relaxation, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, cupping and joint mobilization. She is very passionate about living a very healthy and active lifestyle and is eager to share her knowledge and professional skills with her patients. Her aim is to provide her clients with optimal care tailored to suit their individual needs
Kelly Funchion - Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Kelly has been working in physical rehabilitation for over twelve years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. She started her career as a Kinesiologist / Exercise Therapist at a Multidisciplinary Physiotherapy Clinic. She had extensive patient care experience with acute and chronic injuries, work conditioning, vestibular, chronic pain and cancer patients, motor vehicle accident and work place injuries.
Kelly believes there is always room for improvement when it comes to health and quality of life. With a passion for helping people and healing and looking to find a new way of doing so, Kelly discovered Osteopathy. She attended the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, graduating with her Masters in Practice of Manual Osteopathic Sciences. She has put to practice her manual skills since 2015 and loves that Osteopathy offers an all-natural, holistic approach, improving health and function by restoring motion through the body.
When she is not treating patients, you can find Kelly on a volleyball court, walking her dog Ruby or enjoying the outdoors.
Karli Wilde - Clinic Manager
Karli, our clinic manager since 2016, completed her Diploma in Business Administration at Fleming College. Client care is her number one priority and she is happy to answer any question or concern you may have.
Karli manages all aspects of our clinic and oversees all Motor Vehicle, WSIB and Extended Health Care billings of all claims.
